PURPOSE:To make it possible to connect an impeller and a drive device directly and reduce the dimensions of the device by a method wherein a pair of end plates are provided on both ends of a vane plate, a plurality of through holes or projections are provided on these end plates, and projections or through holes to fit with these are provided on the rotary part of the drive device. CONSTITUTION:The air-supply impeller consists of a pair of end plates 7a, 7b, and a plurality of vane plates 7C are placed between these end plates. A plurality of through holes 7g, 7h are provided on end plate 7. On the other hand, projection 9d is provided on rotor 9b of motor 9, which drives this impeller. The impeller and the drive device are connected when the projections are fitted to through holes 7g, 7h. By this, it is possible to reduce the dimensions M of the fan in the direction of rotational axis, so that the whole device can be made compact. |
