<p>The tensioning end clamp is for powered or unpowered electrical cables. The clamp is easily attachable and detachable without damaging the cable. The clamp is in two basic parts one clamping the cable and the second providing the tension. The clamping part has two arms which each carry a half jaw (4) at one end of a support bar (12) the remaining end having a cranked ring (13) to allow fitting to an anchor point. The jaw section also includes an upper and a lower ring (9, 10) and a lateral ring (14) to allow the tensioning section to be fitted. This consists of a warm-drive (22) carried on a shallow rectangular frame (20) which interlocks with the first point. The worm drives a tensioning block (23), a screw (19) providing the final locking of the clamp by driving a cylindrical wedge between the lower ring and the cable jaw holder.</p> |
