<p>The flat solar heat collector of low thermal inertia uses the flat part of a building, e.g. a roof or wall, as a mechanical support for a double transparent skin, one part of which absorbs the radiation, typically with the aid of a sheet of lightweight dark-coloured material fixed to the support. It can be of modular construction, with a square or triangular plate accommodating individual modules with joints along the edges. The joints can be of elastomer compressible material acting as a seal and insulator and containing a rigid profile section.</p> |
