<p>The solar heat collector comprises a number of ampoules of glas which are of prismatic shape, and which transform the sunlight into heat by refraction. Each ampoule can be hollow nd filled with a liquid having an index of refraction as near as possible to that of optical glass. It can alternatively be of transparent plastics. The prism ridges can be parabolic, so as to give best possible refraction at all times of the day. Screws can be provided, upon which the prisms rest, and used for adjustment.</p> |
