<p>Flat sections, strip or films, of plastic materials are extruded, using a straight outlet passage to a slit nozzle; on the feed side the slit has convex attenuating faces with a rectangular section, the outlet side of the slit is divided by >=1 cross web stretching across its width. System can produce a variety of e.g., rectangular flat sections from various materials at the same speed without changing the nozzle head, i.e. the section can be easily changed, high output rate.</p> |
