<p>Fading inhibitor (dyestuff stabiliser) for Ag halide colour photographic material comprises a 3,5-dialkyl-4-hydroxy-benzoic ester of formula (I), (in which R1 and R2 are each alkyl, R is n-valent organic gp. and n = 1-6, pref. 1-4). (I) improves the light fastness of the image dyestuff and inhibits discolouration during prolonged storage or in the light and darkening of the cyan image.</p> |
