The packing tray is made from a single sheet of cardboard and has a base (3) with two sides (4) and (5) formed by folding the edges upwards. The central part of the sides are cut away to allow ventilation when stacking. The ends (7) have extension pieces (16, (17) parallel to the base. The ends of the extensions (19) fold downwards and are glued to the sides. The sides (7) extend sideways into inner tabs (8) to reinforce the corners. Central tabs (26) and corresponding slots (25) allow stacking of the containers.
