PURPOSE:To realize the spectral analysis for the micro amount of the element by adding the exhaustion means plus the atom vapor shift means. CONSTITUTION:Vacuum pump 2 is connected to optical cell 4 via tube 3, and also inactive gas cylinder 16 is connected to sample atomization part 8 via flow meter 13, needle valve 14 and valve 15 each. Then inactive gas 12 is introduced to part 8 while the exhaustion is being carried out via pump 2 to secure the decompressed atmosphere of the inactive gas at part 8 as well as within cell 4. After this, the high-frequency current is supplied to induction heating coil 10 from power source 18 to heat up crucible 11 and then give the heating atomization to analysis simple 9. At the same time, the atomized vapor is transferred into cell 4 by gas 12 to perform the spectral atom measurement. As a result, the effect of radiation caused at part 8 can be eliminated, and then the detection threshold level can be increased up to the picogram region. |
