PURPOSE:To reduce fluctuation of recovered toner, by cleaning the photoreceptor uniformized in voltage before transfer, of the residual excess toner after charging the toner as same in voltage as in developing. CONSTITUTION:An image developed with toner in developing unit 13 is formed on photosensitive drum 2, which is uniformly charged by uniform illumination of illumination lamp 14 or the like before transferring the image with transfer charger 15. As a result, the transfer of the image developed with the toner is made easy as well as the exess toner is uniformly charged to the same polarity as in developing in unit 13 with precleaning charger 17, permitting the toner with charge fluctuated little to be recovered in cleaning unit 18; |
