<p>The polishing and cutting machine incorporates a disc and a bar-shaped holder with a mounting face at the end for the stone the holder being supported by a column. At the end accommodating the stone (6) the holder (2) is conical, and it also tapers towards the other end. It has on the one hand a sliding and rotary positioning sleeve (26) with flat positioning faces round the periphery, and on the other an indexing sleeve (28) with a large number of index marks, and which cannot turn or slide on it. The positioning sleeve is spring-loaded agains the indexing one and they have locking members engaging together so as to hold them in a predetermined relative angular position.</p> |
