The rotary generator controls a stage, consisting of a pulse converter and a trigger device. The latter controls the current flow in an ignition coil, and thus in an ignition pat in its secondary circuit. The system uses a charge current measuring device and controller which charges an end stage over the trigger stage to such an extent that an ignition coil primary current is kept constant independently of the charge state of an accumulator. Preferably a D/A converter and a reference voltage source is used for ignition cut-out, as a run-away protection of the engine. The protection system switches the driver stage at an adjustable speed via a comparator, in order to block the current flow time period, a signal from the charge current measuring device may be supplied to the triggering device via a second D/A converter and an amplifier.
|
