PURPOSE:To make possible the adequate emission quantity controlling of flash discharge tube by letting the charging of the integrating capacitor which is series- connected to a photo transistor be effected after the specified time from power supply. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a photo transistor 15 which receives the reflected light from the object through the light emission of a flash discharge tube 6, a switching element 17 which shorts the both ends of the integrating capacitor 16 series-connected to the element 15, a circuit 19 which generates voltage by operating simultaneously with the light emission of the discharge tube 6, and delay circuits 20, 21 which make the element 17 non-conducting with a delay of arbitrary time that the voltage generating period of the circuit 10. The quantity of the light emitted by the discharge tube 6 is controlled by the voltage of the capacitor 16. |
