The design is for the control and storage equipment in an electronically controlled telephone exchange, using cyclical scanning of stores to ascertain line and switch block state. The control sequence involves sequential cyclical scanning of storage arrays particular to the establishing of a call through an exchange, and this involves several separate scanning cycles each time separated from each other and tied to the incoming dial pulse information so that the input information by the subscriber is in synchronism with the addressing of stores. The storage units contain the address code and switching information particular to one switching operation so that each serves on e transmission path. The scanning seuqnce allows each store to be released quickly for further operation. Several stores (c1, c2), to cn) are scanned by the first (A1) and second (B1) cycles controlled from the main counter (T) controlling subsidiary counters (U, V). The count is extended to bring other stores (h1....h53... hm in G1 and E1) into the cyclical order.
|
