<p>Two step processes for tint-upon-tint resist or multicolor effects according to the wet-upon-wet process, wherein are used as resist agent alkoxylated amines or poly-amines of the fatty series and optionally the salts thereof (quaternaries). The textile to be dyed is first pretreated in a bath of a usual dye, containing anionic colorants having an index K" (Alpha) 5, preferably sulfonated colorants 1:1 and/or colorants of metal complexes 1:2; it is then treated directly in one or several solutions containing the resist agent indicated hereabove and optionally dispersion colorants or anionic colorants or optical thinners; anionic colorants contained in these solutions have an index K of a value reduced by at least one point with respect to the corresponding index of colorants used for the background dye. The colours are fixed by thermal processing. </p> |
