Hybrid technology applied for filtering the symmetrical components of three-phase network facilitates the design using active components. The positive sequence components are derived from three measuring transformers and three phase shifters connected to a summing point. The output signal is fed via a linear amplifier and phase shifter, while the negative sequence components are obtained by reversing the phase connections. Similar reversals ensure the extraction of zero-sequence components.
