Interconnected thyristors voltage and current control - uses saturable reactors mounted on common magnetic core
摘要

Series and parallel connected thyristors are protected against unequal voltage and current distribution during switching periods due to scatter of their characteristics by saturable chokes. The latter are mounted on a common magnetic core. Static and dynamic voltage distribution between thyristors is determined by purely ohmic and capacitive admittance as well by mixed ones. The dynamic current distribution is controlled by ferrite inductors and parallel to them is the series-connected diode and resistance for limiting the reverse current during switching off.
