<p>An automatic road marker for a vehicle has a pressurised paint container, with a sealed nozzle directed at the road. The nozzle is broken open by an inertial mass linked to the nozzle seal by tensioning wires so that immediately on impact the paint sprays onto the road and marks the track of the vehicle. The nozzle seal can be glass and the intertial mass is a ring about the nozle for omnidirectional control. The ring is elastic mounted to prevent small vibrations from prematurely releasing the spray.</p> |
