PURPOSE:To prepare a resin composition having moderate flowability and giving the cured product having high resistance to deformation under load, excellent impact resistance and creep properties, and improved fatigue resistance, by compounding a specific unsaturated epoxy resin with a polymerizable vinyl monomer, etc. CONSTITUTION:A resin solution comprising (A) an unsaturated epoxy resin prepared by reaction of (a) an epoxy compound having one or more epoxy groups in a molecule (e.g. the reaction product of bisphenol A with epichlorohydrin) with (b) a polybutadiene or a polybutadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer having one or more terminal carboxyl groups, and (c) an unsaturated monobasic acid (e.g. acrylic acid, etc.), and (B) an addition-polymerizable vinyl monomer (e.g. styrene), is compounded with (C) an organic peroxide catalyst (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, etc.). |
