PURPOSE:To make the flashing period accurate and provide the disconnection detection function by measuring the resistance value in a fixed period of time after a turn signal lamp flashes and controllng the signal period. CONSTITUTION:When the turn signal switch 1 operates, the computer 5 detects it and current is applied to the magnetic field coil 91 of the relay 9 through the transistor 7. This permits the contact 93 to close, the turn signal lamp 11 or 12 to light, and the capacitor 7 to be charged. In a fixed period of time, the relay contact 93 opens and the lamps 11 and 12 flash. Constant current is applied to the lamps 11 and 12 until the capacitor 17 is discharged by the transistors 15 and 23 which constitute a constant current circuit. Since the voltage applied to the voltage comparator 31 differs depending upon the existence of the disconnection of the lamps 11 and 12, the lamps 11 and 12 flash quickly with the computer 5 and the disconnection is notified when the voltage is lower than the reference voltage value VS. |
