<p>PURPOSE:To improve the absorption efficiency of H2S and HCN, and to utilize ammonia, by means of a specific absorber for recycling ammonia provided after the H2S and HCN absorber. CONSTITUTION:H2S and HCN are removed from their gas mixture 1 with NH3 by a liquid containing NH3 in the presence of a catalyst forming a redox derivative in the absorber 2. The gas is then sent to the absorber 9 via the conduit 3 to remove the NH3 with a liquid comprising phosphoric acid and ammonia. The absorbing liquid is recycled through the conduit 15, and partly fed to the stripping part 12. The stripped ammonia is recycled to the absorber 2 via the conduit 14.</p> |
