A cabinet for data processing apparatus has a hinged door (35), and a flexible door extension (17) wider than the door and made of a series of door slats hinged together. The door extension can be retracted into the door by sliding it along fixed tracks (19, 20) on the cabinet housing. During this movement that end of the door extension which leads is guided by guides behind the door to a folded form. When the door extension is clear of the fixed tracks, the door carrying the door extension can be hinged outwardly at the vertical corner of the cabinet to allow full opening of the enclosure.
