PURPOSE:To smooth the opening operation and to prevent the damage of seaweeds, by opening and forming the delivery end in the transfer step, and by slowly opening the seaweeds with an opener. CONSTITUTION:The laver T1 is held by a pair of clamps 58, and the superposed part is spread by protruding the forming unit 64 from the window 55A. After opening the laver T1, the drive unit 73 of the opener 71 extends to make the taper top 71B of the opener 71 enter the laver T1. The forming unit 64 enters the window 55A in a moment to release the clamps 58. The conveyor 48 is driven to open the laver T1 flat slowly by the guide part 71A gradually tapered in the height and width directions. When the delivery end of the laver T1 reaches the top of the press circulating unit 75, the opener 71 retreats to open the laver T1 by the feed force of the conveyor 48. |
