PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of packaging operation and effect labor saving, by folding the four rising edges of the running packing bag containing triangular sandwiches one after another, and by welding the open end automatically. CONSTITUTION:The sandwiches C of right-angled triangular shape are charged into the packaging bag a of almost inverted trapezoid shape via the opening b, and the bag a is put into the bucket 5 of the chain 4 with the opening b upward. The press lever 6 is swung by the contact between the bucket 5 and the unit 8 as the chain 4 moves. The rear rising edge A of the bag a is raised almost vertical and folded inward by the swing of the kicker 14. The front rising edge B of the bag a is folded to lie upon the edge A. The side edges E and D are folded up the edges A and B one after another, and welded to take the triangular sandwiches packed in the bag a out of the end of the chain 4. |
