Chemical heat pump comprising a first system for collecting energy and a second system for utilising thus collected energy. The first system comprises a number of steps each and any consisting of a heat exchanger, e.g. 10 and an evaporating unit 11. Each heat exchanger 10 contains a plurality of tubes for conducting of a solution consisting of e.g. ammonia dissolved in water, the solution being relatively cold at the inlet 103, and also intake 101 and outlet 102 for sea water, relatively warm at its inlet. Each evaporating unit 11 contains vertical sheets for pouring over with heated solution from the heat exchanger 10 of the same step. The other system comprises a mixing unit 3 and a heat exchanger 4. The mixing unit has intakes 31 and 32, respectively, for the solution and for the vapour, and also an outlet 35 for the solution after the mixing. The heat exchanger 4 has intake 41 and outlet 42 for the solution from the mixing unit 3 as well as intake 45 and outlet 46 for a transport medium for transporting energy transferred from the solution to a consuming point. The outlet 42 of the heat exchanger for the solution is connected to the inlet 103 for cold solution of the heat exchanger 10 of the first step. <IMAGE> |
