A catheter device for introducing a catheter via a cannula, the catheter 2 comprising a double-walled body 11 and a tip part 16 at one end of the body. The double- walled body 11 comprises an outer wall 14, in the form of a tube made of flexible, non-thrombogenic material, and an inner wall 15, in the form of a stiffening tube made of a material having sufficient rigidity to prevent the catheter from breaking apart when used. The tip part 16 is also made of a flexible, non-thrombogenic material and the tip can be constituted by the extension of the outer wall 14. <IMAGE> |
