<p>PURPOSE:To make possible to select a compression ratio freely by cutting off the inner end of each scroll tooth leaving small semicircular arc within the same angle as a swing angle in which a final compressing chamber does not connect with a discharge port. CONSTITUTION:The inner end of a scroll is cut off leaving a semicircular arc 21 or 22 of the range of a prescribed angle theta. By so doing, compressed fluid in an initial compressing chamber 33 which sucked and sealed the compressed fluid by the swing of a swinging scroll tooth 31 is deformed and contracted via a compressing chamber 33' to a final compressing chamber 34 by the succeeding swing of the swinging scroll 31 and this final compressing chamber is not yet connected with a widened discharging port 32, therefore, a desired compressing ratio can be selected. Further, cutting off contact with partner scroll teeth 30 and 31, the tops of the scroll teeth 30 and 31 can connect the compressing chamber with the discharge port 32 and discharge the desired quantity of compressed fluid.</p> |
