<p>PURPOSE:To remarkably make easy the retrieval, by storing the character at the end of a word with different character code from other characters and enabling to display the initial of the word in the different script from other characters. CONSTITUTION:When a word, e.g., England is inputted with the word spelling input key K, it is temporarily stored in the storage register X1, and the initial letter E is converted into small letter e with the small letter code converter CS and simultaneously, the final one letter d is converted into D with the capital letter code converter CL. Other characters are transferred to the register X2 as they are. The retrieval circuit J detects the word by detecting the coincidence of the content of the memory unit MU and the register X2. The code type detection circuit JC sets the latch circuit F if the end letter of the word is a capital code. The word retrieved is transferred to the display register Z from the storage register Y. In this case, the head letter e is converted into E with the capital letter code converter CL and the final letter D is converted into d with the small letter code converter CS.</p> |
