A cocoon transporting appts. for feeding the fixed amount of cocoons in a cocoon container comprises a detector for the amount of cocoons, a cocoon feeding basket(19) capable of moving up & down within the cocoon container to transport cocoons, & an operation mechanism for the cocoon feeding basket, which makes the basket go up to the predetermined position according to the signal from the detector.
