METHOD OF RETRIEVING CUTTING OIL

PURPOSE:To readily separate cutting oil from cutting chips and exactly retrieve the oil by employing water as medium. CONSTITUTION:Cutting power, cutting chips or pressing chips adhered with cutting oil are introduced into a net conveyor. High pressure water is injected from a pressure water injection device provided over the net conveyor to the chips gradually moving on the conveyor to separate the cutting oil from the chips. Thus, the cutting oil is flown together with the high pressure water. Then, the oil and water mixture is introduced into a storage tank. Then, the water is separated from the cutting oil in the mixture by utilizing the difference of their specific weights by an oil separator internally mounted in the storage tank. Thus, the cutting oil is retrieved from the upper portion. The water in the lower portion is circulated and again pressurized to be repeatedly used. The oil may not be leaked externally in the device.
