<p>The housing of an electric flash device comprises two casings which are disposed about a vertical plane of symmetry, and in which are provided a reflector chamber, a power source chamber, a main storage chamber, and a control circuit arrangement chamber. An opening is provided on a front surface of the housing, and a reflector mounting member within at the periphery of the opening. A reflector consists of a frame within which is an aluminium reflecting mirror of similar shape. A flash member is mounted at the rear of the reflector, and a protective and light-diffusing plate is mounted at the front, in the opening. The reflecting mirror is adapted to provide a trigger electrode for the flash member by suitably shaping its rear portion. A trigger signal lead wire is electrically connected to it.</p> |
