<p>The flashlight has a battery acting as a d.c. voltage source. There is a lamp circuit and a voltage converter producing an a.c. voltage. There is a rectifier a storage circuit for an electric charge to be delivered to the flashlamp; and an ignition pulse generator for the flashlamp ignition. The voltage converter has an oscillating transformer generating a high a.c. voltage. An oscillator has a component with high leakage inductance. There is a switching circuit for the oscillator connection, and a bias voltage generator for oscillator oscillations excitation.</p> |
