<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the sudden change of output of the control signal at starting and stopping the signal generation, and to make possible the stable control, by substituting the function processor of the resistor included in the titled control unit, for detecting the deviation of thickness of rolled sheet between adjoining stands, and for changing the rotational speed of the rear roll at closing the switch. CONSTITUTION:The signal of the detector 2 for detecting the thickness deviation of the rolled material 1 passing the stand (i) and (i+1), the speed of the motor 3, and the distance between the detector 2 and the stand (i+1), are discriminatingly memorized in the thickness deviation retainer 4. And just before the material 1 is bitten into the roll of the stand (i+1), the thickness deviation fetcher 5 fetches the data from the retainer 4, and inputs it to the arithmetic unit 7. The function processor 10 hourly changes the gain of control for removing the thickness deviation correspondingly to ON-OFF of the switch 6. The output of arithmetic unit 7 is multiplied by the hourly changing factors Kon, Koff, and the sudden change of input of the drive control unit 9 for the motor is restricted.</p> |
