<p>Between the longitudinal members of the trailer are placed keel rollers. These lower the centre of gravity of the hauled load and reduce vertical vibrations. The assembly is compact and prevent chassis distortion. The rollers are freely mounted on their pivots, the ends of which enters blind holes in the hollow chassis side members. This is economical and avoids difficulties met with normal roller mountings in stirrups - screws, pins, wedges, washers. The last roller is adjustable telesopically.</p> |
