The tubular sleeve is for cosmetic products and has an outer cover (18) made of wood and an inner metal container (10) for the product. This is in a liquid state and the container has a wick or felt tip (16) projecting from the top through which the liquid flows by capillary action. The container can hold some absorbent material which acts as a reservoir for the liquid. The outer cover has a cap (20) with an airtight seal (22) to protect the applicator cap and its base is closed by a decorative cap (24).
