The board game has at least two sets of counters which can be differentiated. The board has a polygon playing area which is fitted with a matrix of game stations which form lined up diagonal movement tracks for the game counters. The play area includes at least one movable section which can be moved into discrete positions in order to alter the relative position of the game stations located on it towards other game stations whilst retaining the diagonal movement tracks. The game also has holding elements to permit the detachable fixing of the game counters on the game stations and to other game counters.
