PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for turning around a pressed work without changing the position of the work before and after the turning-around, by rotating simultaneously a pair of clamps of a turn-around section, which clip a work, around the center of the direction for feeding work. CONSTITUTION:A work 2 is placed on the supporting member 4a, 4a' of clamps 4, 4' by the attracting arm of a pressed-work-drawing off unit. Air cylinders 20, 20' for transferring driving means are actuated in order to clip the work 2 with clamps 4, 4'. Then the air cylinders are operated so as to rotate levers 33, 34 clockwise around a driving shaft 36. Rotation of the levers 33, 34 causes the clockwise rotation of pinions 16, 16' through racks. Hence clamp holders 17, 17' and the clamps 4, 4' are rotated simultaneously through 180 deg., thereby turning around the work 2. Then the work 2 is released from the clamps 4, 4', which clip the work 2, by the rise of the work-supporting member 3 and the jig 41 to the position of a two-dots chain line, whereby the work 2 is placed on the jig 41 and is carried out. |
