<p>The hydrostatic transmission coupling incorporates an automatic clutch, a torque governor, a hydrostatic differential, a hydraulic velocity regulator, and a hydrostatic power unit. A planetary gear train may be utilised, the sun pinion (2) being mounted on the input shaft (3), the satellite holders (4) being mounted on the output shaft (5) and the crown wheel (6) being coupled to a variable capacity hydraulic pump (7). The crown wheel drives the pump which feeds an hydraulic circuit (8). The circuit may be open or closed, being controlled by a valve (9) which responds to engine regimes, inc. a torque governing safety valve (11) and uses the hydraulic oil to lubricate the gears.</p> |
