<p>The Diesel engine governor has a suction pump (10) driven by the diesel motor with the under press at the suction side being monitored. The press monitor (48) supplies a checking signal when the under pressure drops below a given threshold value, to cause the fuel feed to the motor to be blocked, to check the Diesel motor. Pref. the pressure monitor (48) has a chamber (50) containing a membrane (52) clamped around its periphery and dividing the chamber (50) into a volume (6)0 communicating with the suction side of the pump (10) and a volume (62) communicating with the atmosphere, the membrane movement operating a switch (59) to supply the check signal.</p> |
