The large surface air filter screens are fitted on the inlet side of a fan impeller mounted in a frame, forming a housing in which the impeller is mounted. The housing material can be wood, sheet metal or plastics and the filter is fixed to the housing by clips and protected on the outside by a grille covered by an ornamental element. The fan consisting of large-diameter impeller is mounted on the frame in a manner preventing vibrations and rotates in an opening tightly surrounding the impeller diameter. The equipment can be fitted with one or two fan units, with a possibility of the fans discharging into a split shaft. The outlet openings can be fitted with a protective cover and/or sound-dampening device.
