<p>Pressure leaf filter has shell mounted on rollers or wheels. The leaves are mounted on a shaft or support attached to the foundation. The shell is attached to two hydraulic cylinders, one either side which push it onto a conical sealing face. The shell is rapidly removed for cleaning and maintenance by operation of the cylinders and is easily replaced. Used for filtering slurries under pressure esp. those contg. fine material. The shell has a cylindrical, bell type construction.</p> |
