Excess amine may also be used as solvent and the metal salts may be prepared using pyridine as solvents in which case pyridine adducts of the products are generally obtained. The pyridine may be removed from the adduct by heating. One salt may be converted to another. The above compounds are used as vulcanization accelerators in curing elastomers, reducing bloom.
