PURPOSE:To obtain an argentic oxide battery with a high one-stage discharge characteristic by constructing an annular pedestal of porous metal and providing a reduced film of argentous oxide over the contacting surface of a positive pole made by shaping positive pole agent of active materials of argentic oxide with the pedestal and a positive pole can.
