The safety device to release the ski from the ski boot includes electric impulse generator fitted to the lower leg of the skier. An impulse receiver is coordinated with a release device operated either directly or indirectly through the impulse generator. The impulse receiver causes the release of the ski boot or a part of the ski boot directly or indirectly for instance by the transfer of electrical into mechanical energy. The transfer of the impulses from the generator to the receiver can be carried out either by a conductor or by a wireless method.
