<p>An adjustable support for a headrest has a plastic moulding with sleeves (4, 5) at each end and with a middle section (8) incorporating support lugs for a central hinge. The sleeves are clamped to the support uprights of the headrest with vertical adjustment, while the horizontal hinge provides tilt control. The one-piece support serves for both modes of adjustment. The vertical adjustment uses spring clips at each sleeve to locate in ratchet grooves in the uprights. The hinge is secured by a single bolt and interdigitated friction pads for a friction hold.</p> |
