PURPOSE:To reduce the size and to facilitate the assembling, by securing a cam to be engaged with a sliding member for clutching and sliding the slidable member to on-off direction of clutch in accordance with the rotation of pin to inner end of pin supported rotatably on circumferential wall of tubular member. CONSTITUTION:The steering clutch 9 is constructed such that a transmission member 11 is placed beteen bearing 10 and spindle 4 in spindle case 8 while a slidable member 13 having a dog nail 12B gnawable with a dog nail 12A at the end of transmission member 11 is fitted slidably to the spindle 4, and on-off of transmission to the spindle 4 is performed by sliding the slidable member 13 through spring 14. Here a pin 16 coupled to the clutch operating arm 15 is provided rotatably only around the axis orthogonal to the axis of spindle 4, while a cam 17 for sliding the slidable member 13 in on-off direction of clutching in accordance with the rotation of pin 16 while engaged with circumferential groove 13b on the outer circumference of slidable member 13 is secured to inner end of said pin 16. |
