<p>Laboratory glassware device is made from thermally resistant glass and is of use wherever heat transfer is required, e.g. coolers, condensers, evaporators, etc. The medium being heated or cooled flows down the centre of the device with branches at either end. The heat transfer medium flows around it. The device is arranged such that an inner sleeve is mounted close to the branches for the heat transfer medium. This causes the medium to flow down to the extremity of the device and then back up the annular passage towards the outlet branch. In this way dead areas are avoided and the max. possible heat transfer area is achieved.</p> |
