Chiller system for bodies laid out in coffins consists of chamber on a support platform into which the coffin is placed. This has a fan and fridge evaporator/cooler on one side an inlet for the cold air. The air is drawn out near the top on the other side and flows back through a passage underneath the chamber. Refrigeration unit is mounted below, with a layer of insulation between. It has an air inlet on one side and a fan draws cooling air across the condenser. The warmed air leaves into an outlet branch and duct. The chamber converges towards the outlet. Used for cooling corpses in coffins in cemetery buildings or funeral parlours. Avoids recycling of heat from the fridge unit into the chiller box.
