The installation for detaining heat from wind power has a tower with a rotor on top, driven by a set of blades or sails in the manner of a windmill. The rotor is connected by a belt drive with a bladed rotoro or paddle wheel immersed in a liquid operating in the manner of an eddy current brake. The liq. is enclosed by a vessel and is heated by the braking effect. The vessel is housed inside a tank contg. another liq. which forms a heating medium and receiver heat by heat transfer from the first liquid. This medium is then circulated around a heating circuit which can include pumps, radiators and a hot water storage tank. |
