<p>A coupling for a terrain vehicle has the coupling balls on inclined shafts to spred the shear forces into horizontal and vertical components, with full socket bearings on the other part of the vehicle. The load is distributed on the vehicle by having additional wheels, on subframes, supported relative to the main chassis. The coupling links articulated terrain vehicles and provides an even towing force as well as even ground pressure. Additional servo arms link the sections to spread the loading.</p> |
