The watertight wall is formed of panels embedded in a hardened grout. Joints formed by cylindrical tubular parts (2 and 3) joined together by a strip (6) comprise at least one fold (7), so that an allowed movement of the panels (16 and 17) results in a separation which is less than the width of the deployed strip (6). The wall remains watertight despite the possible movements of the panels which it contains as a result of the ground. <IMAGE>
